We respect your right to control your data. You can delete your Eventide account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app.

How to Delete Your Account

1 Open Eventide on your device

2 Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)

3 Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"

4 Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your account credentials and profile information
All journal entries and their text content
All mood tracking data and scores
All AI-generated reflections
Breathing session history
Favorites, settings, and preferences
All data stored in our cloud database (Firebase Firestore)
All data stored locally on your device (encrypted Hive storage)

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover any of your journal entries, reflections, or other data.

Data Retention

Upon account deletion, all data is removed immediately. There is no retention period. We do not keep backups of individual user data after deletion.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play before deleting your account.

Alternative: Export First

Before deleting your account, you may want to export your journal as a PDF. Go to Settings and tap "Export Journal" to save a copy of your entries.

If you're unable to delete your account through the app, or if you need assistance, contact us at support@reflektapp.net with the email address associated with your account. We will process your deletion request within 48 hours.
